Dr. R. Durgadoss - (His associates call him Dr.DD) is an entrepreneur, inspirational speaker and writer. Dr DD was a consistent Top rank holder and gold medalist throughout his academics. He is a Chartered-Cost-Management Accountant from both India and UK, with a Phd on Corporate Governance.
Dr.DD has had a career spanning over two decades comprising of depth from industry and width from management consultancy as highlights. He has a wide exposure in an array of industries ranging from steel and cement to fisheries and management consultancy at top positions in some of the biggest companies in the world. His multi-sector, multi- cultural, multi-functional and multi-territorial exposure makes his career unique.
Having travel led extensively on management consulting assignments, he has interacted with prominent International bodies across the world like UNIDO and several reputed companies among them a few held by Harvard Professors. Currently he is based in Dubai as a Group director of a large Corporate. He has co-authored a book on ‘Corporate Governance’ and a Business fiction ‘A Saint in the Boardroom’.
He has delivered lectures in various forums on Character, Competence and Consciousness (3C’s) and presented several papers on corporate governance & responsibility, corporate & personal value systems, situational business ethics and building character into corporate DNA. He is passionate to serve as a generator of hopes for the distressed youth, who are currently fighting their greatest wars in the silent chambers of their soul.
Having held a spellbound audience with powerful story telling effect during his corporate career, he thought it is time now that he focuses on a series of fictions in the historical / mythological genre. ‘The Shackles of the Warrior’ is the first release from this contemplated series.
